Tick Control Tube Program

Protection Against the Most Common Ticks in Our Area

Ticks are a real concern for Northern Illinois families.

Our Tick Control Tube Program targets the most common ticks right where they wait for a host: brush, woodpiles, rock walls, and the shaded edges where mice and other wildlife travel.

2-Step Program Built Around Where Ticks Live

Our Tick Control Tube Program is a 2-Step treatment designed to reduce ticks before they become a problem on your property. Rather than treating your entire lawn, we place Tick Control Tubes at the specific spots where ticks tend to wait for a host: along landscaping beds, near sheds, rock walls, woodpiles, and the edges of brush or wooded areas.

These tubes target the mice that commonly carry ticks onto your property, helping to reduce tick populations at the source using environmentally responsible products and practices.

What to Expect

This is a preventative program, we can’t promise every tick is gone from your yard. Ticks can migrate in from neighboring properties, and some activity outdoors is always possible.

What our scheduled treatments do is meaningfully reduce the most common ticks in our area over the course of the season.

Our Mosquito Program Will Help

Our Tick Tube Program helps reduce the population of the most common ticks found in our area. While this preventative program is effective on its own, we strongly recommend pairing with our Mosquito Barrier Treatment for our best protection.

Tick Tubes target ticks at one of their primary sources, while our Mosquito Barrier Program treats the areas around your property where ticks are most active. Together, they provide our highest level of tick protection for your property.

Simple Steps That Help Prevent Ticks

  • Keep your lawn mowed and trim back overgrown vegetation. Ticks thrive in tall grass, weeds, and brush.
  • Clear away leaf litter and yard debris, especially along fence lines, wooded edges, and landscape beds.
  • Create a mulch or gravel barrier between wooded areas and your lawn to help limit tick movement into your yard.
  • Stack firewood neatly and away from your home to discourage the rodents that commonly carry ticks.
  • Limit deer and other wildlife from frequenting your property when possible, since they can carry ticks onto your lawn.
